3 Step Thursday – Bagel Faces

Bagels don’t have to just be a breakfast food. Kids on the go need carbohydrates to keep them running fast and strong, which is why Bagel Faces are today’s easy-to-make snack.

This recipe is so easy, it doesn’t really need much explanation.

1. Toast a bagel. Click here for tips on choosing a healthy bagel option.

2. Spread with cream cheese, peanut butter, or almond butter.

3. Create a happy face using Oregon Canned Fruit’s blueberries, blackberries or raspberries.

Then, pour yourself a big cup of coffee, plaster a smile on your own face, and bite into your own bagel face. Adults need nutrition too!
